Ok so i started to use cheat engine again but now when i open up the directx mess thing non of the hacks work i tried it on gta vice city and MOH AA.i dont know if i am using it wrong like opening up the wrong program you are suppose.Does it still work?Are there any tuts on how to use?

depends on the game. Direct x 9 and 8 should often work, but you need to be lucky (no dx10+ support)

also, insert hotkey and click on apply, else the hotkeys won't do a thing
