Hey I've got a problem with Cheat Engine and the problem is when I open Cheat Engine I'm getting error: "Failed to set data for 'First Time User'".
I've seen that topic: viewtopic.php?p=2136281&sid=5954670545e903a0800a1cb9c2943c9c
but solution didn't work for me.
When I try to scan any process I'm getting message: "Access violation at address 004AE364 in module 'Cheat Engine.exe'. Read of address 00000008."

disable/uninstall your anti virus and/or firewall(don't forget to reboot after that else it won't work), it could be they are blocking ce from writing to the user registry

and if that fails try installing ce to c:\CE

and be sure you use ce 5.6.1

Still don't work, I've reinstalled system today the same result

I think the problem can be here(in that game) havenandhearth com

I think that game has began that problem, because, that error is showing since day when i played this game first time(I think that java have ruined my computer but I don't know how to solve that problem, I've already uninstalled java)
