Cheat Engine

I recently reformatted my computer (and unfortunately lost all my files because someone stole my external HDD).

Anyway I don't know if it's something I installed recently, or perhaps the new version of Windows 7 I'm using... but MSN mesenger has started to freeze for about 10+ seconds on certain occasions!

It freezes when I open or exit a new chat window, click anything, or just type!

It doesn't freeze every time I type. I can usually type for a few seconds, but then it will freeze... usually at least 2-3 times a minute or so.

Has anyone else found a fix for this? I haven't tried reinstalling.

Also, I use Windows Live Messenger 8.5 Beta... I hate the new versions of MSN messenger, 8.5 was the last good one.

Another thing is that I use WinPatrol as my antivirus (I love it because it lets me decide what is and isn't a virus before it does anything). I got this different version of it or something so that may be it as well.
