Cheat Engine

So, I bought Saints Row 2 on steam yesterday...or the day before. lol.

Anyways, I've played it and beat it on the PS3, and the stupid "respect" system they have that makes it so you have to fill the respect meter to do the next mission takes so long its not even funny. The story is awesome but that feature alone, which is a cheap way of adding length to the game, makes me not want to play it...

So here's the thing, I've seen trainers out there that are (alledgedly) based on CheatEngine for Saints Row 2. They have respect cheats. Thats all I want. I'm not interested in infinite health etc. Just respect so I can steadily flow through the story missions....problem is, these trainers don't work for the most up to date version of SR2. There are trainers for my version, but none have the respect option...and the ones that do make the game crash. Fail.

I know how to use cheat engine, but because there is no given value for the respect, its just a meter, I'm having a hell of a time figuring it out.

Any ideas?

The meter has a value.

If you can't figure out what the value is, Then try the following.
[This is very basic, yet you know how to use cheat engine ? 8| ]

Search unknown initial value,
Get respect,
Increased value,
Get respect,
Increased value,
And so forth, play around. And if it doesn't get you a result in the end, try decreased value as some games work on how much space is left in a value.

Besides for that, I like getting respect, I enjoy doing the tasks. They're not all that hard.
