| I burn the .iso file on a disk, but when I boot up my computer it doesn't recognize it. I set my computer to read the CD Drive first but it still won't work.

What does the file structure on your disk look like? Do other OS disks boot properly?

I have the .iso file, and that's it. I'm not sure if other OS disks work, I'll check on Wednesday.

You did it wrong. The ISO file tells the burner what to put on the disk, it shouldn't be on the disk itself.
Get imgburn (free). Choose 'burn image file to disk'. Choose ISO. Profit.

Me too.
Assuming you can demonstrate you are using it correctly, the image file is valid, your burner and target disk are working as they should, and you can show that it still doesn't work.

Don't do an ISO.
Convert a USB to F.A.T and you install the W7 boot on it with some certain CMD commands. Google it, I did it and it's pretty hardcore. Loads up and installs quick time.

He is actually right, but you can use and MD5 or SHA1 to verify a downloaded iso integrity against a standard distribution CDs.
