How do I cheat?

I'm stump. I can find the current clip in human weaps but failed to do so with alien weaps.

Closest I can get is scanning for floating point and found 0.XXYYY... where XX is what's written as ammo left. Since alien weaps uses plasma it is pretty logical for them to be floating point instead of integer.

But when freezing, my ammo keeps going down, so I tried to see "what accesses this address" but end up with a weird address that points to "???".

What other ways can I go about doing this?

ps: Please don't ask me to get trainer or use game cheats, I prefer the thrill of CE-ing. It's just more fun!
