Wasn't sure exactly where to post this so if this is the wrong section I apologize.
Whenever I minimize or close an application and the desktop is next to show up, it doesn't. Instead, I see an imprint of the application I just closed.
I was about to restart my computer, until I got a DDE server window problem. I googled and found some answers but none of the website I saw mentioned the "desktop" problem above.
Then, I ran Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and they came up with three infected files.

Should I just do this? I saw this on another forum:

Not sure what to do. No, I didn't remove the infected files or do the above. I did not restart my computer yet.

Yes but I doubt the files are related to your problem.
How old is your computer?

Yes but I doubt the files are related to your problem.
How old is your computer? |
Wouldn't say it's that old. 2-3 years tops.

Delete OOBE.DLL in System32. It is a virus, :D
Delete it, restart your computer, and your comp will go faster

Back up your registry, remove infected registry keys. I recommendfollowing the first tutorial first though.
