My mom has been wanting to invest in opening up a coffee shop (she currently sells it online), but I don't think she'd earn much doing that... what with starbucks everywhere and whatnot.

But I came up with something pretty cool. I'm going to invest in opening up a game store. The closest Gamestop is 40 minutes away from our town, so competition wouldn't be a problem.
In the store, I'd have a room where people can pay an entrance fee and play their games. Or they can test out games before they buy them.
Gamers tend to play games for long periods of time, they get thirsty... or hungry. So in that room I'd have my mom sell her coffee, as well as other stuff that gamers tend to love. The room would have arcade machines, computers, and consoles. I haven't decided on how pricing would be, I've only recently given birth to the idea.

This could work, I really think I'll go through with it. And I know lots of people that I could trust to hire (I'm also certain they'd take the job). So far, there's nothing negative about this.

that actually sounds like a pretty good idea.

just make a little research on how you town takes in games and see if it will be really profitable .

Yeah, I'll start searching for buildings that are for rent. I'd like to have it open 24 hours, so that's what I'll look for in the rent guidelines before I purchase.

Oh, and I may be making this sound like it's going to happen soon... it won't, but I'm planning early so that I don't fuck things up later.

Biggest problem is...who's gonna run it? Do you have any idea how much work it is running a company? Not to mention you're planning on keeping it open all day long. What are you going to do, run it yourself? Do you really think that 1. you have enough time to run a company and 2. you even know how to run a company? Do you think your mom's gonna want to run it?
