Could Jupiter capture Mars in its magnetic field, and use it like another moon?

I don't think so, they would collide before an orbit could be formed. Mars is too large to be a moon.

Not necessarily, it goes by Width x Hight, I think. Since Jupiter is extremely large, I think it could pick up something as small as Mars.

Maybe, but still, they would have to be much closer, and in the event that Jupiter would be close enough, Mars would begin tugging towards it, fucking up it's orbit. In the even that it breaks orbit and begins orbiting Jupiter, Mars would probably be annihilated by smashing into other planets.

Would the earth be doomed if a meteorite the size of the sun hit us? Its never happened, but I sure as hell know the answer.

I've come to the conclusion that your arguement is invalid.

I'm pretty sure the suns gravitational pull is stronger than Jupiter's so Mars will remain in it's orbit. Id assume if there was no sun the planets would orbit around Jupiter (The smaller close ones at least)

Edit - Also Mars + Jupiter are rarely close enough for Jupiter's gravitational pull to have much effect.

There's no proof to back up your argument. What you're stating is pure speculation.

I have stated nothing in this entire thread. I asked a question and asked you to explain your comment.
