How do I cheat?

I want to look for an address of a shop item but the value of that address is too small. I cannot change location of that item in the shop. When i scan for that value, it comes up with a few thousand results which i cannot isolate because the game crashes. I know that the address+9 has a value of 1.
Using that information, is there anyway i can refine my search ?
