| What do you think will happen in the future in terms of television (as we go into the next decade). Question may be vague but that's because I'm interested in everyones opinions. Some questions to consider include, whether reality television die down, will NBC be good again, will the good old fashioned cartoon market still exist or will tweens devour it? and will the sitcom genre be dead by the time this decade ends. Just give me your taughts of what you think the future of television will be like.

I think not much will be changed since if it was, it would have in the last decade which has brought demise to a lot of things.
Reality TV: nope, NBC: no idea. Cartoon market: Yes i think. sitcom genre: NO, why ?, they're so funny.

At some point in the Future, lets say 2025, TV will become so cringingly, banal, retarded, obviously propoganda laden, Someone Creative team team cretins from the BBC, ITV, or the FOX network.
(Assuming the same monkeys get on the Creative teams in the future due to a host of politcal and cultural reasons)
Or maybe it will be joint-venture or something
-Will create a TV program called
"Pottatoes chunks under the Foreskin"
It will start on BBC but then will move to ITV(now funded by the FOX network, but it will essentially be the same format it is now)
It will have all the production teams from "Dancing on Ice", now in they're 70-90's.
And will be hosted by people/fine artisans and grand dukes of "why the f*&%£ should i care" with very strange sounding names:
Such as:
Danny Greylove.
Hangbag Jones.
Marcelo mcarlangeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Ben-Bim-Bum-Pom Stevenson.
And one cant leave out...
MIKE THE TRIKE.
At it will have viewing figures of 999999999999999................ people.
Dont get me started about TV today.
I live in Britain, so I have it far worse of than you.
b = British TV
a = TV today.
I have to put up with a*10^b !

In the future there will be be no series/sitcoms or movies on tv. If you wish to watch that, you will be able to hire separate episodes of the series you wish to watch, but they won't be coming on the tv, with perhaps the premiere episode being an exception which will act as a big commercial. (which will probably be aired 12 hours a day on repeat)
Instead, the whole day the broadcast stations still alive will be airing non-stop live reality shows or popular webblogs or other crap no-one wants to pay for (tosh.o 24 hours a day for example)

Couldn't agree more. The world is turning into garbage, and corporate markets will eventually run everything.

| It'll probably merge with the internet. Why bother buying a TV when you can just pay to stream it online?

It already has. A lot of the newer TVs (even a couple year olds) can stream video & music from the web.
