|
|
I dug up my old bamboo from like 5 years ago and the pen I believe is shot because it keeps clicking randomly instead of when I want it to.
I looked up a replacement pen on wacom and it's $70, which is what I paid originally for the entire tablet, so fuck that.
I want to know if all the wacom pens are universal, so I can just get a bamboo fun pen off amazon for less.
edit: something like this http://www.amazon.com/Wacom-Bamboo-Create-Pen-Silver/dp/B006SYG38U
edit: apparently I just have to change the nib or something, I'm going to try pulling the nib out to reset the sensor.

I removed the nib from the pen but it still clicks randomly when I put it near the tablet, so I think it's the eraser side that is having issues.
I'd gladly just disable input from the eraser side but I guess they only have that option for the intuos and not a bamboo.
Thanks, wacom.

from my personal experience, bamboo pens of different models are not universal
i.e. my bamboo [fun] pen will not work with your bamboo [pen & touch] tablet
i haven't tried of the same model yet

I don't have a pen and touch, this is the original bamboo, pen only.
