I have this computer and it's basically unusable. Is there anyway I can upgrade it's processor? If so which one should I use? I already know where I can get more RAM. Also, let me know if there's anything else I could use.

It would be more expensive trying to upgrade it's processor and memory then it would to go and get a new low-end PC.
Your computer was made in 2004.

I can't afford a new PC. 1gb of ram is only 30$. I doubt a that + a processor would cost more then a low end PC, unless you can find a good low end PC for around 150$.

What I'm saying, is that the CPU for it is limited. Like you can't upgrade to anything more powerful than Pentium 4.

The RAM upgrade will likely be all you need. But then again due to the age of the computer, the Hard Drive itself would be slowing it down as well.

My personal recommendation, is upgrade the memory to 1GB, then see what it's like. It might be a large enough performance increase that you won't need to worry about upgrading anything else.
If you do, I'd be trying the hard drive next, not the processor.

Glad I could help. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Cheers.

Alright, could you suggest a hard drive for me? I most likely won't need anything over 120gb.

Well, your motherboard (http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=c00063244#doc) only has IDE slots.

This will do fine:
