I'm a basic user of cheat engine only really capable of doing straight forward scans and basic assembly editing (nooping jmps and such). I'd like to learn how to use it a bit better. Coincidentally I'd also like to be one of the players who can put any item into their inventory.

Has anyone figured out how to do this or would be willing to give me some pointers as to how I would go about giving myself items?

I know that the inventory is clientside and the server believes everything the client tells it, including noclip variables. I also know that the item icons or what have you are located on the heap because their addresses change constantly (the address for the item count that is, I can never seem to find the item ID which is 2 bytes long).

I know many people here can do it, could someone swing in and show me what's up?
