Edit: Nevermind, iunno, that's just what I had been told, never used Chrome.

Yeah it's normal, that's why nobody uses chrome.

It's true, one of the bad things about chrome. 5 tabs in chrome = 5 chrome processes.

You can disable it. Forgot how but you can google it up.
It just creates a process for every tab so if one tab crashes, you don't lose anything. Or something.
