There is no tutorial that answers this question.
I am trying to hack this flash game running as a standalone on my PC. Ive done multiple searches with the multiplying by 8 and all that. I wish to do the very simple thing of giving myself large amounts of this item in my pack. My biggest success thus far is finding four values that clearly are linked to the number of this item i have. 1 was 4 byte, another a 2 byte, and two single by values. If i changed one value, they all changed. The problem was, changing or freezing these values had no in-game effect. gathering more of the item reset the values back to their original correct values. i tried freezing the values and them spending some of the material, but it it had no in-game affect and i still lost some material.
So while these values i found were connected, they don't seem to control the actual item in the game. I have scanned many times useing "all" as my value type and cannot find anything else linked to my items in game. Is there some other thing i need to look for? none of my games have done this before.

Do an unknown value search for float and double.
and expect some very strange values.. (i.e very very big or too small)
And yes may be your game uses dma.
Tell me the name of the game.

The game is an offline version of the MataNui Online Game 2 (MNOLG2) compiled into a standalone flash game by Takua_me from BZPower. The game is much too time consuming and I'd lake to hack it to make it more reasonable.
id post a url, but the site wont let me.
I'll try some of those float and double scans.
Edit: Float and double scans aren't giving me any results.

All of the flash games are using DMA by the way. Even the code's address is changed.
I was guessing the game is server sided until You posted it is offline.
Then the problem is that You didn't find the correct value, only a value which is used to display Your items amount or similar.

I've never heard of a Universal flash trainer before. Makes sense actually. Now my problem is finding one I can use. I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. consequently ever trainer or variable scanner i try to use gives me an error about COMDLG32.OCX, a file wholely uncompilable with my version of windows. I'd use XP Mode, but that's not available with my version either. I have tried about 5 trainers now with no luck, even the ones i found in the CE forums.
So how does one hack flash games with a 64-bit OS?

Honestly I didn't ever try on 64 bit. I am using Katana with WinXP SP3 32-bit. Maybe You should ask it in the flash games section.
