I can't just use any OS, can I? If so, is there an .iso I can download and burn onto a disc to use?

Well, laptops have come with apps/drivers, such as displaying how charged the computer is, connecting to the internet, etc etc. The only thing I'm confused of is to find drivers for accessing the internet etc.

you just have to download the drivers for it, for whichever OS youre using

I dual booted ubuntu and XP on my laptop, and ubuntu already has its own shit so connecting wirelessly to the internet and the battery shit was fine
