What are tips for SC2 MP online?

Anything I should do specifically for each faction?

Rush one unit? lolol

Practice your macro. Your nexus/command center should always be making scvs. Learn a solid opening build and just play heaps.

Only real macro strategy I use, is to only use 2 slots on the building unit queue. Like only making 2 SCVs or 2 Marines at once per building. This leaves you with more resources to spend on upgrades/buildings, while having the same output of units on your buildings. Training more than 2 units at once is wasting resources. The reason it's 2, is so the training of another unit happens immediately. Works pretty well for allowing you to grow faster. Once you get more resources & get your shit going you can use more of the build queue, but it just slows you down if you do it too early.
