How do I cheat?

I have been playing Minecraft and after a while the screen goes blank and then 'ATI driver stopped responding but has successfully recovered' comes up and the programme stays unresponsive so I have to end it.
I've already changed a setting in CCC - Put GPU Clock to 400 MHz and Memory Clock to 900 Mhz idle (I googled the problem and it happens to alot of people, this solution didn't help at all)

The people on some forum said it worked for them, so I tried it, no difference. Fantasy or some shit said update drivers, they are updated >.<

It does that to me when I OC too high. Even though you Oc'd it fairly low, you should set it even lower because your pc might not be able to handle it.

Still, try clocking lower. Keep clocking lower until you find the "sweet spot". Only fix I know.

Where i find all that stuff?
I went onto ATI website, used an un-install thing, uninstalled everything related to ATI. Went onto the driver thing and clicked search for updates, says it's fully updated lol
