Is the idea of an 'origin' of existence not paradoxical?
Couldn't you always challenge the origin of the origin? |

| Yeah I always wonder why things exist when they just as easily couldn't. |

Something starts at one point, that's called it's origin. Something can't have it's origin changed. I don't know what you mean by an origin of an origin, that doesn't make sense. _________________

He means this.
Scientists believe the origin of the Earth is the chemical reaction that created the big bang. He is questioning what is the origin of the chemical reaction that caused the big bang. Etc.
Religions believe that God created the Earth. He is questioning what created God in which created Earth.
I believe that Humans brains can not function in the way to understand that. When we die I think we will find out. Thing is, when we die, will there still be time? We don't know how stuff will work without time. Our brains can't think like that. Our brains can only think in time. _________________

| Of course you can argue that it's paradoxical, so what? If you had one wish in the world, would it really be for the Big Bang not to be paradoxical, and for the universe not to exist? |

I think when you die you just stop thinking, have no senses and are unaware of anything until the end of the universe. So pretty much when you die there is nothing. |

What are you going on about the end of the universe? If the universe collapses it is because there suddenly is more dark matter than dark energy and that the universe contracts again. It doesn't matter if it does that though, because if it does that the universe will just return to the state it was in before the big bang.

You think you would notice when the universe ends? |
The universe will never collapse. It will simply expand so much that every atom will be so far apart that nothing will be able to exist. |

I guess what I really mean is, could you ever truly determine the origin? Couldn't you always ask what created that?
Religion says God created everything. Where did God come from?
Science says the Big Bang created everything. Where did the original compacted matter come from? |

No you idiot. Even if the universe expands it doesn't stretch. It's like taking a cube which is 3x3x5 cm and then turning it into 4x4x6cm without change anything inside simply adding more space. You could say it's like blowing up a balloon. The air inside the balloon doesn't suddenly begin to split does it? _________________

| This is all explained in M-theory. Where membranes in the 10th dimension are what created our universe (along with the infinite other number of universes) and also determined the characteristics of our universe. So just because the speed limit is the speed of light, or that gravity is pretty weak or that our universe might cease to exist, does not mean these characteristics are the same in every other universe. While ours might cease to exist, many others will not. |

one thing i can say is that if something has an origin, it means it exists inside of LIMITED time. Time has a beginning and an end. God exists OUTSIDE of time. _________________

Time is a creation of man. No I'm not saying we physically made time, but we defined it. Truth is that we don't know anything about 'time'. We don't know if it's infinite or has an ending or beginning, or if we can travel though time.
For us, time is the 4th dimension since we 3D creatures live from moment so therefore we explain the movement from one moment to another as time. |

Nothing made god, "he" doesn't exist ...
Okay, yes, you can argue it is paradoxical, but that will never find the answer, research finds the answer. |
