I finished the main story by like level 5 on my mage, they were stupidly op.

Derp. The game adjusts to your level, you can set the difficulty to the lowest whenever you want.

Or a huge open world environment with multiple groups of players roaming the world at seperate locations and they may happen to cross eachother, might result in combat, friendship, trading, etc.

I have Oblivion with around 50 mods working at the same time. My game looks almost as good as Crysis because of the mods and I've added hundreds of hours of gameplay.
Oblivion has a brilliant mod community.
I love Bethesda games, but their game engine isn't stable.

Bro, I capped my mods three times. I was a name at the the forums, even developed some mods.
But that was 3 years or so ago.
