i'm sorry,my English is not well.
i'm playing a chinese version of game named "FENGYUN ZHI XIONGBATIANXIA".CE worked well before the newly updation of the game.but now the FIRST SCAN can find out data addresses and the NEXT SCAN cant find out any.why????????????
i think there are two reasons that cause this :
one: CE is killed by the game protect kit(GPK:a kind of NP).
two: CE works normally,but the game is updated.the address of data to scan in the game always changes,so NEXT SCAN fails.

can anyone tell me which reson above is right and why?????

Perhaps you are right. i didnt attached the game process with CE.i used the extra setting in the CE.so i can use the CE kernel routines instead of
the original windows version to open the game process.but im failed to attach CE to the game process.i can only open the game process.then i do as you said, try with unknown>increased/decreased scan instead of exact scanning.but the same result comes.why?????

can you download the game and try it? please.....
i only wish to find out address of the game role's location.(x=?y=?)
