| It's because Kim Jong-il was raised to believe he was the son of a god. This will either end with him dying prior to doing something horrible, or he'll do something so fucking stupid that he'll get killed, go down in the history books as Hitler 2, and be the cause of North-Korea being leveled to the fucking ground with atomic bombs. That fucker is stupid enough to think that he can somehow oppose half of the entire world.

I doubt it. People are going to get hurt. And he won't go for a country like America. There is too much of a risk. He'll probably bomb a small country somewhere in Europe that is not a part of the UN, to show the world he's a force to be reckoned with. The UN will do nothing at first, because they need to get a feel for what the fuck just happened first, and then create a plan to extract the cause, while leaving the country intact (diplomacy at its finest). Subsequently causing the deaths of hundreds, thousands, or millions of people to be payed for with the life of a man that is fucking insane (with this I mean the life of Kim Jong-il). This reeks of a situation similar to that of Saddam.
