Cheat Engine

I have gotten stuck on Step 4 of the tutorial, when i try to put the value (ie 84.95), an error message pops up saying "Scan error:thread 0:84.95 is an invalid value"

Also, I can pull up the first number, such as the ammo in the same one (like 96) and it will pull up a list, like it should, then click and decrease until it says 95, then do another search for 95, and the list will completely go away.

Can someone help me please?

are you using float/double when searching for a value? It's sounds like you are using integer.

Ok, so I got that, and made it through step 5. My next question is what exactly did I do in 5?

Tried to go through 6 and got totally lost.

for step 5, find the address, then find the code that writes to it and disable it. CE does this all in almost-auto mode.
