GenericProduct - Motherland Is Calling
This poster was designed for the promotion of a school product; Ironbark Bottled Spring Water. And yes, I am aware my name is located down the bottom of this picture. I am also aware I have used a worn out joke. Enjoy.
Using two base images, one a water bottle, the other a propoganda poster; [Link] which translates to "Motherland Is Calling" or something along those lines for anyone who is wondering, I vectorised the images using bitmap trace so as to simplify the colours, I then added an overlay of red to the main image while excluding the render of the woman so as to create contrast. After this I merged the layers and used the filter "half-tone pattern" to create dots so as to give an idea of a certain printing style. I would remind people that this poster is mean to be printed on A2 size and hence, when viewed, is much smaller than the actual print.
None the less, please bring this image to full-size otherwise it will seem even less realistic.
