Decided to play again and try not to ragequit this time.
Anyway, when I open my "available" heroes tab, I see like 1 row of heroes I can use, but when I check my "owned" tab, it only displays Cho'Gath and Tristana. What's up with that?

There's a set of free champions every week, so you are able to use them, but you do not own them.
