Hi,
I'm messing with a game called Diamond Caves, its a classic Boulder Dash clone, the new version(beta) utilizes some XNA framework, whereas the old version was easy as pie to hack as most addresses were static, anyway I'm using the new(beta) version.
So to start off with something simple, I'm attempting to Freeze time, simple enough yeah, well I soon discovered it's a level 4 pointer, which I find totally ridiculous for such a small game, thanks to CE pointerscanner and some of the tuts around here, I was able to track down this level 4 pointer.
Now the bad part, if you were to import new levels, or edit existing levels, all my pointers change. quite frustrating as a beginner.
Now, it seems it seems pointerscanner isn't working like before, i'll read more tuts and report back.
Is there any advice someone can give me please.
Let me know if you require any more information.
Thanks

| If you used the pointer scanner to find the pointers and they are indeed static, they should be of the form somemodule.exe/dll+someoffsetabc123. If this is the case, CE should be able to find them regardless of what other modules are loaded.
