|
|
Hi there.
So I know there is a way to set the chance of disenchanting while enchanting to 0 from other games (Breaking Weapons while forging etc.)
Since it's a percentage, that increases everytime i successfully enchant I can't figure out, how to find/search for the right value.
First time enchanting: 2%, second: 4%, 6%, 8% and so on.
Hopefully you can throw me a hint.

I'm interested in this as well. I found that items have a modifier that changes how many times they have been enchanted, but if you lock this number no further enchantments can be added even if it said it worked.
This value probably won't be a memory value, because the percentage is proportional to the amount of times it's been enchanted so it is static and probably in a table, so it will have to be in ASM.
Anyone?

Well, I was toying around with this today and I couldn't find the dice roll on the disenchantment. However, I did find the next best thing (this is using the latest version for steam):
Pointer Address: Torchlight.exe+001777C4 Offset: 713
You can just NOP that code and the de-enchantment counter won't increase.
Also, if you want to reset the counter on the item you have (so the de-enchantment percentage is 2%) you can set a breakpoint at the address the pointer is pointing to and find what value ESI is add 2f8 and set that address's value to 0.
