I dont know if this is the right spot to post this so please dont flame but recently I got an HD T.V and I switched my Xbox to HDMI because it is the "ultimate gaming setup" but today I saw a video and I was told that HDMI gives you farther view but a slower refresh rate where RCA/Component has little to no refresh rate but less view dose anyone have any advice?

VGA carrys only analog and HDMI/DVI carries both I think. Digital should not make your refresh any slower than it is.

I doubt it matters as you are using TV. Maybe different if using a CRT.

The refresh rate will not be any slower.

HDMI is superior to component in every way, although not by a lot in most cases, it is better.

The TV doesn't matter, but I would go with HDMI
