Somewhere between 2000 and 2009 there was an anime movie release (in theaters in Europe as well I believe). I can't for the life of me remember what movie it was, but I've been looking ever since. It had a very western vibe. There were a lot of european buildings in it, and I believe it took place somewhere between 1920 and 2000 (sorry, the buildings and clothing looked old, but I couldn't pin it down). It all surrounded the creation of some building/weapon/whatever. And the lead was played by a young boy I believe.


Any ideas? Post links to trailers if possible.

Unless you're speaking of the remastered version, it's not going to be this.
