I didn't buy mine, but i use this loader that automatically updates the game every time notch updates.
Here it is

Works better too because you don't even have to play it in the browser.

I do, daily.
I do the drills we did during track practice then i run up and down my street, i'm also running home from the senior center

Or you can just use the client. Either way, clients easier to get a hold of. There's no reason not to use it...
It comes with automatically updating Infdev and indev.
