| G is dead. Get an N adapter. N does g/b/n. N is becoming the new choice for wireless.

You need a N router to take advantage of this "N" technology.
And so far there isn't one that's good.

And so far there isn't one that's good. | The netgear N wireless adapter is very good. I also personalyl have an N router. If not N at least get a G/B and not a just G.

Well it's not for gaming or anything, I'm trying to get internet working on a computer just for simple things.
I'm not going for the most expensive/best thing out there.
So what would be a good answer for those parameters?

Any wireless router produced in the last 4 years or so will do 802.11g, anything since 2000 will be 802.11b. Most wireless dongles these days will do 802.11b/g anyway, so you'll be fine.

Any usb adapter by belkin is probably fine, I've had very good experiences with belkin stuff. Currently I have a really old G adapter on my old computer, my internet is fast as could be. For normal internet browsing, go ahead and buy that one you linked to, I'm sure it will work perfectly.
