Apparently they are going to start charging monthly fee's to access Facebook. What do you think about this? Do you think everyone is going to move back to Nexopia? What's your opinion.

I think like millions of facebook users can't even get their money to the internet >_>. Let alone spend it on something like facebook.

That's outrageous. They can't just start charging money for something that's been free for years, just because they can. If the douchebag who made facebook just sold it to google, FB would be the most amazing site ever, and nobody would even be thinking about such a preposterous idea.

Nobody would ever want to do that, and FB's popularity would plummet.

I don't know, apparently its not that much i think it's $10.00/month, $20-$30/3 Months, $50/Year. The popularity will drop, but they assume cause Facebook is so popular, that people will pay to stay with Facebook.

For all you know, it could just a dumb rumor started in your school.
But this move would be one of the stupidest decisions made. Facebook is just plain huge, on par (maybe larger / slightly smaller) with myspace. With facebook gone, most (if not, all) of the users will most likely move to other large social networking websites like myspace, xanga, tumblr (not so much, but my favorite).

That would be just plain stupid to do that x__x

Well you never know, they want to make more money, so since it is so popular they will make people pay to stay connected to facebook.

I use facebook, but I definitely don't use enough that I would want to pay for it. Facebook would lose the thousands and thousands of users who, like me, like it, but don't worship it.
