So I am rescuing what I can off my sisters hard drive, since she screwed her computer over so bad. I plugged it into my computer, but some of the files have permissions set to only allow her to access them. She wants these files. Is there an easy way to copy the entire hard disk to one of mine? _________________

rightclick the folder and choose properties
go to the security tab
If you have the message "You do not have permission to view or edit thos object's permissions" click the advanced button
go to the owner tab
click edit
select your username or groupname (I prefer administrators)
tick the checkbox "replace owner on subcontainers and objects"
click ok
a popup will show asking something, click yes
you can now read the stuff in those folders _________________
