sad for many reasons.
It's encouraging kids to stay indoors instead of socializing face to face which is healthier.
It's a new source for pedophiles and other sexual predators to have access to a kid's life details. It makes it easier to attract the kid if you know his/her likes and dislikes.
It will backlash and create a generation of kids with impaired social functioning because they lack real world communication skills.
