Well i have a complicated problem. Im learning VB and thought a good idea for a second project would be a modern warfare 2 singleplayer trainer ( i dont hack online because i dont wanna waste 60 bucks)

When ever i scan something with Cheat engine, i cant find the correct value. At first i tried to make a health hack. So heres what i did:

I enabled speedhack and set it to 0.01. Then i shot myself with an rpg, and scanned for "unkown initial value" when the scan was complete i kept pressing increased value, increased value, inscreased value (it was in super slowmotion so i could do this for like two minute before the health stopped regenerating) until i got about 20 addresses in the list.

i froze all of them and changed them to 9999. But nothing happened, i could still die, feel shellshock, and take fall damage.

So i decided to try something simpler ( i wasnt even sure if i was looking for the health the right way) ammo. Its gotta be the easiest of all of them. So i picked up an M4, and scanned for 30, (settings: 4bytes, exact value) i shot a bullet, and scanned for 29 and so on until i got one value. I changed this value to 99... and..... NOTHING.

Have you tried decreasing value? It's probably a value that is like 1 or 100 which increases all the time if damaged. If it reaches 0 you're dead.

Try the following:

Search the initial value
Use the changed value
Check it's the absolute correct value
Key is to repeat these steps

Make it change as static as possible
You might try the following as well

Decrease the same value in game
Increase the same value in game
Check what has changed
Keep doing this
