With versions CE 5.4 and earlier, the "Edit Addresses"/"Smart edit Address(es)" dialog pops up when duplicate an address with copy and paste.

CE 5.6 seems more stable than CE 5.4 but I miss the functionality of the popup dialog for edit addresses. I'm working on Space Colony and for each character, there are 23 addresses with known values I could change. Each value is incremented by 4. With CE 5.4, all I have to do is find the first address then keep adding addresses incrementing by 4. Using the new CE5.6, I have to copy and paste 22 times, then manually adjust the addresses by 4 each time. That's twice as much work as the earlier versions.

Also previously when I copy an paste a whole group of addresses, the "Edit Addresses" dialog pops up for me to adjust the whole group by an equivalent increment. With the "Edit Addresses" Dialog missing, I would have to manually recalculate and adjust each one after pasting.

Is there a setting I can click on or a plug-in that would allow the "Edit Addresses" Dialog to popup when I copy and paste an address ?

That's a bug yes. The simple copy paste option in settings isn't being used

download http://cheatengine.org/temp/ce56-20100514.rar and overwrite the old cheat engine.exe with this one and then make sure that "simple paste" is disabled
