|
|
My copy of win 7 apparently was a fake one. Now, about 6 months after it was installed, it showed that my copy is not genuine. Iv tried various activators but none of them worked.. I tried one especially for my build.. didn't work either. Can someone help? =/
Windows 7
Build 7600

Did that windows come installed with your computer?
If so, if you screw over the person that sold it to you, microsoft will give you a valid key
Besides that, do a complete format and reinstall windows

| I used a program called RemoveWAT a few months ago when I needed my Windows 7 activated. It basically removes the activation files rather than activating it.

Yeah, i tried RemoveWAT, it didn't work for me.. The activation key in Computer -> Properties was gone, but the stupid message at the bottom right on the screen still wont go away, and its pretty annoying.

Did you restart your computer after using it?

Just get a watermark remover. Windows 7 keys work on 1 pc at a time. If you use the same copy as him, they key will become invalid.

After you ran it did it give you a message saying that it was successful?

| You're going to have to reformat. You probably have the windows update that makes all the loaders not work properly.

Just go into disk management, shrink your C:\ and copy whatever you have to the 2nd partition, then reformat.

| I don't have a legit copy of win7 either, used a nice activator called 7loader, and worked (is working) fine.
