I'm currently failing to beat this stupid fucking boss that takes practically all of my HP in a single attack of his, and then sometimes uses it twice in a row really fast, so I can't beat it. Sad

if so:

cast protect, spam electric attacks.

I managed to kill it. Thing is though, even with cid healing and shit, I can't exactly win if it damages my entire team by 1500 in one hit, then uses the attack twice in a row before I can do anything about it. They had like 2000 hp.

Now I'm looking for that key that is in a place sunlight can't reach. I don't remember anything from my last playthrough, but I'm guessing it's in a tunnel underwater.
