Well point is, everytime I open itunes it either freezes my computer or makes it crash. Everything else works just great, I actually just recently reformatted. However, iTunes is just not functioning well. I've reinstalled so many times and nothing, so I've simply uninstalled it. Can I put music on to my iPod any other way?

WinAmp Pro can, along with a multitude of other programs.

(You need winamp pro, not just the normal version. You can pay for it, or you can "pay" for it.)

Winamp can't if it's an iPod touch or iPhone. But it will work otherwise.

You may try an itunes alternative to do it, which can help you to put music on an ipod without itunes, and not erase anything when transferring.

Thread is 7 years old... try not to bump things so old, chances are OP won't read it or has found a solution or has given up... and there's quite a few programs now you can use instead of itunes so it's not hard to find an answer on google.
