Hi,
I'm trying to hack the (pirates) rep in X3 terran conflict.
I succeed in finding and changing the value, but i can't find the pointer, so everytime i reload i need to rescan for it. I've followed the instructions, but when i hex scan for the "value of the pointer needed to find this address", CE give me no result.

Thanks a lot for the fast reply.

I've seen the video and searching in the memory viewer, but i can't find the starting address, i've made a screen of the memory viewer, the line with mov [esi+01],ecx is the last one. Before it, there are some addresses, which one to choose?

And how do i know the number of levels in this multilevel pointer? In the video it is easy, he has 4 line, 4 levels, but i'm not as lucky as him.

Use the method of the cheatengine tutorial and just keep going till you find a green static address

Sorry, which tutorial? the video one?

My problem is that i have no results for the pointer, nor green nor black.
