Hi,
I'm trying to understand how to handle pointers, but i have a problem.
I'm trying to cheat the reputation in X3 terran conflict, yes i know there is a cheat script, but i'm learning pointers and using this game as a bench.
Ok, i find the address of the reputation (with pirates) and try if i can change it, i can.
Then i open the function "find out what writes this address", i make the rep change and one opcode appear. So i read the extra info and note the probably address of the pointer, try to do the scan (with the tick on hex) of the address, but no result.
If i scan the first address the one with the value of my reputation i find a pointer, but if a reload the game it doesn't work anymore, so i think i didn't find the right pointer.
