| ctrl-g works fine as 'go to' on the disassembler part but is it not possible to make it so it works for the memory dump as well when that is in focus ? |

that's how it currently works yes.
If you have focused the hexview (memory dump) and press ctrl+g it will affect the hexview location
Just don't forget to make sure you've focused it _________________

tested it on ce 5.6 release in win7 and it works as expected.
select the hexview, press ctrl+g, and type in the new address in the popup, and enter
I am assuming that you mean the bottom part of the memory view window right ?
edit: Don't go into edit mode. Click on the address, or right of the charfield, don't click on the bytes or characters _________________

| okay i can reproduce the bug now. if you open memory viewer and click on one of the bytes of the hex dump then press ctrl-g does nothing. as if no window is focussed. |
