I was wondering....
I have a Corsair TR3X1600C7D attached on my Gigabyte GA EX58 Extreme Motherboard and was wondering if I buy a new heatsink which is Cooler Master V10.
I just want to know will my memory card compatible with the cooler?
Cause some memory card will not fit under the cooler

Have you tried taking measurements yourself? You can probably find the V10's dimensions pretty easily.

If you got them value ram or ones with low profile heatsinks, you may get away with it.

The Corsair Dominators may have some problems with them.

the V10 is pretty tall you know
here is a picture with normal Kingtone HyperX in the motherboard
that corsairs are like 2 times taller but it should fit in

What is the best CPU Cooler as in fans and fins and stuff. Not liquid cooling and hydrogen and and stuff.

that would be the Cooler masters V10
though it is almost as expensive as a simple liquid cooling system (( which helps more than the fan ))

Fuck no.
V10 is the bigger version of V8, with more rice.
Tuniq 120 for the extreme rice.
http://www.frostytech.com/top5heatsinks.cfm
Or Hyper 212 + if you are poorfag.

Tuniq Tower 120 Extreme Heatsink
it is pretty decent for 60$
the V10 is 120$ but that is because it is equivalent to 2x Tuniq 120 in the heat sink size and got a better fan.

you know with heat sink bigger = better

So bigger heatsink and bigger fan = better cooling? but not in design and features?
flawless logic bro.

Also more expensive doesn't make it better. is like saying the 930 is better than the 920 for extra $50 because the extra 1x multi.

I though you were smart enough to understand how it works.

the bigger the heat sink the more heat transfer it needs to balance the temperatures and the fan cools off it so it drains more heat from the processor. the bigger the fan is at the same RPM or the more RPM with same size the faster it will cool off the heat sink and the faster the heat transfer is going to happen from the processor to the heat sink trying to balance the temps.

add: of course this applies in comparison only if the heat sink are made with the same material or one with similar physic attributes.

Let the benchmark talk.
in summary:
for double the price, you get
200W CPU support ( there isn't one)
Bigger heatsink, blocking the ram and will not fit on most standard cases, (there are exceptions). In my opinion is poorly design for consumers.
3 degree difference in most benchmark against other top tier heatsink for half of the price.

God tier? Yes
Will it fit? you'll have a hard time depending on ram.
If money is not the problem, swing it for all you care OP.
you can get some cheap Singapore prostitutes for that price, but a 236.5 x 129.6 x 161.3 mm heatsink is way better than some cheap Asian hookers.
Oh yeah, this shit is fucking 2 pounds.
