For some reason, spontaneously every few minutes the focus on the window I'm looking at is lost. Like, as if I had clicked the desktop. Can someone help me? It's very strange.

Check if you have Yahoo anything installed. Same thing happened to me because of Yahoo being a pile of shit.

Yahoo messenger/toolbars always install themselves in other installers without you noticing.

I checked anyway and there's no yahoo bloat. I'm pretty sure it's not my problem right now.

Does it lose focus like you could be typing in a box and suddenly, even though another window doesn't come up, it deselects that window?

EDIT:
http://www.softpedia.com/get/Office-tools/Other-Office-Tools/Window-Pinner.shtml
I used this for a while, seems to work a lot of the time.

EDIT2:
Also ending the processes named 'searchprotocal.exe'(?) etc/. (the microsoft searching indexer) helped.

Absolutely correct. I'm looking for "searchprotocal" right now.

Yeah you're getting background interference.
Basically just go in your startup and deactivate anything that windows doesn't need.

Well, I googled it and disabled the programs. I'm pretty sure the problem is solved. Thanks for the tip.

Sadly, I am still actually having the problem. It's driving me nuts! Any other suggestions?

Maybe you are clicking the touchpad when you type or move your hand.

Definitely not the problem. I'm using a really good mouse and the touchpad's turned off.
