I need help, your help will be much appreciated.

Okay, so, how can I remove another Operating System?
I have two Windows XP in my Computer (one pwnt by a Virus, can't boot, says the C_10814 thing is missing) and the other... well it was BSoD'd.

I don't want to risk a reformat, because I have important documents on my PC, and the time I was gonna backup the files, the PC got BSoD'd.

How can I remove the first Windows XP (the one pwnt by virus) without formatting? And the other OS, I can't get pass the Loading Screen without getting BSoD'd.

Help?

This is what you do.

Ask a friend to download and burn Ubuntu 9.10 onto a disc.
Turn on your PC and enter the BIOS. Select DVD Drive as first boot device.
Exit BIOS and the Ubuntu will run. Select Live CD or what ever the option is to just run the OS without installing it.
Have an external hard drive and copy all your important files to the external.
Now that you have backed up all your stuff, Reformat the computer using Windows of your choice. Windows 7 is probably the best in my and many other peoples opinions.
