System freezes when trying to launch DBVM from CE

Hello,
Whenever I right-click tghe cheat engine logo, and click on "your system supports DBVM" and say yes to launching DBVM, my system just freezes. Why is this, and can it be prevented?
My tech specs are as follows:
Windows XP Professional SP3 (running on an iMac by boot camp)
Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E8135 @ 2.40 GHz
2.98 (adding the chips up it's technically 3) GB of RAM

Try closing as many running programs before launching dbvm (even closing those without a window using taskmanager)

Add more ram sometimes helps (in case the memory manager messes up)
Besides that not sure, I don't know what bootcamp does/interferes with
