I have 4GB of RAM, so lack of memory usage won't be a problem. I'm just not sure if this would be a good idea.
And if it matters at all, I am using a 3rd party theme.

If you execute them together it would save memory so your choice. I actually think they would run faster separate.

explorer restarts automatically anyway when it crashes
i guess it might be useful if you can't wait 4 seconds for it to come back...
do whatever, it will hardly make a difference.

Love how for every superfluous "tweak" like this, there are a hundred more useful options locked away somewhere deep in the Windows registry.
As for pros/cons, pro: independent processes mean only one can crash at a time, con: ~8MB of memory.

| If the program goes down it doesn't take explorer with it if its dual processes. If you are low on system resources use them as a single.

Well I understand that perfectly, I was just wondering if there were any under-the-surface changes that could have an effect on something.
