I recently uninstalled the tuneuputilities program. I ran the .exe to install a newer version of it, however the computer gives me a message saying a version of this is already installed. I searched my harddrive for anything relating to tuneup. However, I could not find anything. how can I fix this?

Download and run revouninstaller.
Reinstall the old version of tuneuputilities.
Open revo and select the program and pick choice 4.

Uninstall like normal and if it needs to restart don't.
Let revo do its job and delete all regs or whatever if finds.

The registry is still in the computer.

No, the computer thinks a version of tuneup is already installed but it is not. So it won't allow me to install any earlier or later version. And revouninstaller does not detect any tuneuputilities program. nor can I find traces of it.
