Cheat Engine

I will be playing a game using CE(5.5) and then my pc locks ups and ie restarts ?

Any suggestions on this ? Is it flashplayer ? or a setting i need to change ?

I use vista if that helps, and everything is updated

Did you enable any of the option in settings->extra ? If not, 100% it's flashplayer, it just means that it couldn't deal with something unexpected, and instead of handling it, it just freezes up, and kills itself, taking the browser with it

I haven't changed any settings, they are at original settings, from when i bought the pc 1 year ago

Is there any setting to change or am I out of luck on it..lol

no, you don't change any settings.
You most likely just changed a memory address and when flash read it it crapped and died

Might be a configuration error. CE is extremely intolerant to wrong settings (even amongst different builds of the same revision), so I suggest you clean up and reinstall.
Here's what you do for a proper cleanup and re-install.

Use these shortcuts in this order:
- \Start Menu\Programs\Cheat Engine 5.5\Kernel stuff\Unload kernel module
- \Start Menu\Programs\Cheat Engine 5.5\Reset settings
- \Start Menu\Programs\Cheat Engine 5.5\Uninstall Cheat Engine

Reboot.
Re-install CE and use this shortcut:
- \Start Menu\Programs\Cheat Engine 5.5\Kernel stuff\Gather kernel data

Start CE and hack.

Some AntiVirus companies blacklisted portions of CheatEngine as "hack tool", so make sure that no AntiVirus tools catch any files during this process because a missing file could cause such things as well. Best to whitelist the directory where Cheat Engine is installed; be sure to download CE from the main page only in this case, because that's the only version you should trust with a disable AntiVirus.
